· Summary of an article by Andrew Allemann, Domain Name Wire
The .ai registry reported 425,060 domains on April 12, 2024, about 70,000 more than in December 2023.
The count roughly tripled in two years, driven by AI companies choosing the country code of Anguilla, an island of around 15,000 people.
