# "AI" is back as the top keyword in domain sales

January 17, 2025 · Summary of an article by Andrew Allemann, Domain Name Wire

AI was the most common keyword in domains sold on Afternic in November 2024, back at number one after a month in second place. It has stayed near the top for more than a year.

Other strong keywords included "my", "home", "it" and "group". The author expected the new .ai registry operator to boost both .ai sales and AI-themed .com sales.
